Outside Contractor Sales
Steve has worked at J.S. Purcell Lumber for over 16 years, and has been in the construction industry since the early 80’s. He especially enjoys visiting job sites and meeting customers to discuss their pre-construction needs. If you are looking for above and beyond, Steve is your guy! Dave has worked at J. S. Purcell Lumber for 23 years, with over 59 years of experience in the building industry. Prior to his time at our store, he worked as a General Contractor, managed Whitmore Lumber Company, and supervised as an Industrial Flooring Estimator. Need assistance planning your next project? John has been in the construction business since the late 1970's, eventually specializing in estimating and purchasing. He joined J.S. Purcell Lumber in 2003. God has blessed John with 7 grandchildren, with whom he greatly enjoys spending time. You will also often find John waterskiing at Lake Anna or scuba diving in the Caribbean. Outside Sales Coordinator/Accounts Payable
Pam has been working for J. S. Purcell Lumber Corporation since 2004. Currently, Pam takes on the role of Outside Sales Coordinator for Lewis Alewine, as well as Accounts Payable and other office functions. Pam states, "helping people with their building needs has become a passion of mine, and the relationships that I have built along the way speaks volumes." Outside of work, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and children. As Pam states, "#ThatsHowIRoll."
Outside Sales Coordinator/Sales
Jannette has been with J. S. Purcell Lumber for just over 8 years. She has over 30 years of experience in customer service. Along with working the sales counter, stocking the store, ordering and mixing paint, she is the Outside Sales Coordinator for Steve Bean. Jannette likes to say that “she knows enough to be dangerous.” Jannette has lived in Louisa County for most of her life and is familiar with the area. She looks forward to seeing you for your next project!
Contractor Sales / Rentals
Robbie has been with J. S. Purcell for over 29 years. He has over 14 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and road construction as well. As the Rental Manager, he can advise you on the proper equipment for your project, as well as the proper usage of said equipment. He can also design your cabinets and countertops. He enjoys farming, vintage automobiles, antique tractors and hunting in his spare time. Come in and let Robbie help you with your rental equipment, cabinet and countertop design and building needs.
Office Manager/Accounts Receivable
Lisa has been with J. S. Purcell Lumber since 2004. She states, "I enjoy my time here because each day is different. I have made good friends and met a lot of great people." Outside of her time in the store, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, pets, visiting family, and going to church. Questions about your account? Lisa can help!
DP is a lifelong resident of Louisa County and has been in various types of construction for over 30 years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and most of all spending time with his wife, Toni, and their two children, Taylor and Anthony. DP takes great pride in his customer service skills and looks forward to assisting with your building needs!
Joyce has been with J. S. Purcell Lumber for 18 years. Before 2005, Joyce described the building industry as a "foreign language," but with her years of experience in customer relations, she has grown quite comfortable in the business. She specializes in sales, waiting on customers, mixing paint, and ordering and re-stocking materials. Joyce says, "people say that I am mean, others say that I am brutally honest. Stop by and see us, and you be the judge..."
